DESCRIPTION:The Diabetes Self-Management Program is a community-based workshop to help people better manage their diabetes. This program is recommended for those who are managing Type 2 Diabetes or are Pre-Diabetic. Adult-age caregivers\, family members\, and other members of a support team are highly encouraged to attend as well. The Diabetes Self-Management Program is based on the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) developed at the Stanford University Patient Education Research Center. Different subject matters are taught over the course of 6 weekly\, 2-1/2 hour sessions all focused to help each participant manage their diabetes. This program covers both the physical and emotional aspect of managing diabetes but does not replace any existing programs or treatment for the participants. DESCRIPTION:Chesapeake Choral Arts Society Announces Auditions for 2022-2023 Season  \nDo you like to sing?   \nThe Chesapeake Choral Arts Society\, under the direction of Leroy Pressley\, will be conducting auditions on Mondays\, August 29th and September 12th beginning at 6:30 pm by appointment. All auditions will take place at Peace Lutheran Church\, 11610 Rubina Place\, Waldorf (off of Smallwood Dr.) \nAuditions will consist of vocal warmups\, pitch matching and vocal exercises to determine the singer’s vocal range. No prepared piece is necessary! SUMMARY:Diabetes Self-Management Program
DESCRIPTION:The Diabetes Self-Management Program is a community-based workshop to help people better manage their diabetes. This program is recommended for those who are managing Type 2 Diabetes or are Pre-Diabetic. Adult-age caregivers\, family members\, and other members of a support team are highly encouraged to attend as well. The Diabetes Self-Management Program is based on the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) developed at the Stanford University Patient Education Research Center. Different subject matters are taught over the course of 6 weekly\, 2-1/2 hour sessions all focused to help each participant manage their diabetes. This program covers both the physical and emotional aspect of managing diabetes but does not replace any existing programs or treatment for the participants.
