
LEONARDTOWN, Md. — We are receiving reports of a motor vehicle crash that took place this evening in Leonardtown.
At approximately 4:32 p.m. on September 1, first responders were dispatched to Fairgrounds Road in the area of Clay Hill Road for a reported crash involving two vehicles.
Crews arrived and located both vehicles with one possible injury.

EMS evaluated the patient and determined that they were in need of further medical treatment for minor injuries.
They were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The road was reopened soon after.

No, people think they know these back roads
No, there’s more crashes on rt4 and 5 then the entire stretch of I95 everyday, people can’t drive! Speed cameras on every road in southern Maryland every few hundred feet will eliminate more then half of all crashes

It’s time to increase the penalty for causing a crash in southern Maryland (except for a medical emergency)! $1,000 fine, 3-5 points and a 30 day suspension of your license!
